Koelreuteria paniculata 'Coral Sun'.

Koelreuteria paniculata 'Coral Sun' is found as a seedling. This seedling attracted my attention by its red new growth and in winter by the yellowish branches. Only, the year after selection the plant particular shows the beauty of the first growth: as red as fire (like the young growth of Pieris 'Forest Flame'), after a couple of weeks turning into translucent pink. When the leaves are full-grown the colour is bright green with reddish petioles. The second growth in the middle of the summer is also red, but less fiery.
The growth of Koelreuteria paniculata 'Coral Sun' is like all Koelreuteria paniculata and after any years it will be a little branched tree or a big shrub. The plants I have, didn't flower, yet, but I think, it will be the same as the species.
